CWA’s work in Parks and Recreation demonstrate their strength in conceptual design, as well as their ability to integrate design into a community. Typical of their work, they go beyond requirement and expectation to develop the space into an experience for the community.
CWA has recently completed several recreational projects. The projects include Buena Vista Park adjacent to the library in Burbank, Dry Town, a water theme park, and Marie Kerr outdoor amphitheatre and softball park in Palmdale.
Dry Town showcases CWA’s exceptional attention to detail. The layout of the park integrates an old west miner’s theme that defines the experience. From the saloon styled ticket booth, Main Street entrance to the “rusted” signage, the park seamlessly combines the modern-day water recreation and construction with a heritage old west theme.
